Last weekend I caught a few great shows in NY, despite most being closed for the final days of summer. "Go With the Flow" at the Hole Gallery features work by several artists who've used atomized paint in various ways.
One is struck at first by the space itself: it is almost blindingly white, wrapped entirely in a plastic drop cloth that clings to the walls and floor. The work itself is all the more vibrant against this backdrop.
Two of my favorites, by KATSU, appear to be failed Microsoft Paint airbrush paintings.
